Masque Card Games

How do I install the Masque Card Games CD?

Windows

Insert the disk in the drive and close the door.  Normally that will open a window labeled "Autoplay".  Then you click on "Run autorun.exe"
If that window does not open, click on the Start button and then click on Computer (or My Computer)
Right click on the Card Games icon and left click on Open
Right click on the setup.exe file and left click on "Run as Administrator"

Macintosh

Insert the disk in the drive and close the door.   An icon will appear on your desktop labeled  "Masque Card Games".
Open that icon and you will see "Installer for OS 8.1 to 8.6", "Installer for OS 9 to X", and "Installer for OS 10.4"
We recommend using "Installer for OS 9 to X"

 

How do I start Masque Card Games?

Windows

On a Windows computer, double click on the "Masque Card Games" icon, which will be on your desktop.

Macintosh

On a Macintosh computer, double click on the "Masque Card Games" icon, which will be on your desktop.

 

How do I tell if I have the latest version of the program installed?

Start up the program and go to to one of the solitaire games
Click on the Help button (bottom of your screen).  Click on About.  That is the version you have installed.

Windows

I can only find one Solitaire game, where are the rest?

To find the other solitaire games, start the program and sign in.  Click on Masque Solitaire and then you will go to the Klondike solitaire game.  If you want to play other solitaire games, click on the Game button (lower left corner of the screen).  Then click on "Pick Another Game".

Macintosh
If you can't see the Game button, your Dock is in the way.  To move your dock, click on the Apple menu (upper left corner of the screen).  Go to Dock and click on "Position on Left".

 

How do I make the cards larger?

Start up the game and go to one of the Solitaire games.  When you see cards on the table, click on the Game button
Click on Game Options and then you will see the Small, Medium, and Large buttons
To the right of the large button are two boxes.  Change the value in the first box to 95 and the value in the second box to 125.  Click OK

 

The cards have moved off the screen.  How do I get them back to center?

Start up the game and go to the solitaire game that is off screen.  Click on the Game button (lower left corner of the screen).  Click on Game Options and then click on the Misc. tab.  Put an X in front of "Show View Adjust Tool".  Click OK
You will now see a 4 headed red arrow in the upper right corner of the screen.  Click on the green square at the center of that arrow to re-center the cards.
